"Five Questions" was a standard segment on the original format for "The Daily Show" with original host Craig Kilborn. With Jon Stewart as host, the show has morphed into a different program—more politically, less celebrity, focused.
How It's Used
“Stewart and his bosses have been short on details of what The Daily Show under his management will morph into. Stewart reported for work last Monday; his first guest, Michael J. Fox, was announced three days later; and the future of segments such as 'Five Questions,’ wherein the host tries to stump the visiting celebrity with questions about sports, food, and what fruit her breasts most resemble, remains untold.”
—Jennifer Weiner, “Nice guy Jon Stewart is no longer a late-night also-ran: Tonight, he makes his anchor debut on ‘The Daily Show’ on Comedy Central,” The Philadelphia Inquirer, January 11, 1999, p. C7.
